The position provides consultative support for human resource and workforce issues that impact the overall operational strategy for the organization's core business functions. The position acts as a subject matter expert on policies, procedures, employment law, and fundamentals of all core areas of human resources. It ensures ease of access to HR deliverables for operational clients.  This position will be on-site at our Behavioral Health facility.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of three years in Human Resources, Employee Relations, or related field.

Essential Functions:To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.

  1. Provides direction and communication on various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations.
  2. Ensure all policies and training communications/documents are accurate and available to employees, as required; ensure policies and procedures are followed, and assist in policy creation and education.
  3. Works with Department Managers on employee relations issues including routine and complex issues; assists departments to resolve employee issues and develop solutions.
  4. Coordinate employee onboarding and off-boarding processes to ensure compliance with the company's policies and procedures.

5.Guides employees to the Service Center for inquiries related to, benefits, leaves, payroll, and the Employee Assistance Program

  1. Ensure completion of all necessary compliance activities, including required audits, notice distributions, I-9 compliance, labor law posters or other notices/postings, etc.
  2.  Track leaves through the life cycle to ensure proper management, administrative tracking, and clear communication with all parties.

8.Assist with HR representation during Joint Commission and regulatory surveys.

9. Develop effective retention strategies that create measurable, positive impact on employee morale and turnover.

10.Other duties as assigned or required.
