Under the supervision of the PI/UR manager acts as a patient advocate to utilize appropriate resources available for each patient according to admission criteria, to include pre-certification, concurrent review and discharge planning for each level of care.

Reviews the medical record for quality of the Psychiatry Medical staff.

Maintains the strictest confidentiality of all patient information. Promotes the concept of cooperation and develops open lines of communication with department employees, patients, visitors, and other personnel within and outside the hospital.
