Medication Tech

Job Summary: 

The Medication Aide, dispenses medications under the direction of the Resident Care Director and helps residents with activities of daily living and caring for the resident's environment, including laundry and housekeeping. The Medication Aide must be sensitive to the needs and desires of each resident and attempt to improve and enrich their lives. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma/GED, current certification as a Registered Medication Aide in this state or ability to be med-delegated, and at least two years of experience, preferably in a long term care setting or assisted living community. Candidates must have a genuine desire to help others and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:    

• High school diploma or GED        

Licenses/Certification:     

• Med Certification or ability to be med-delegated

Experience:    

• Two-years’ experience in senior living preferred
